Goals

Evaluate the views of cannabis users on the effects and symptoms of cannabis indica vs. cannabis indica Cannabis sativa through online survey.

Plan

Research of 95 randomly selected cannabis users. Chi-square bilateral tests were used to determine correlation, followed by multiple comparisons of Bonferroni and Fisher's exact test.

Results

Confidence in purity, mode of administration, or purpose (recreational vs. medicinal) did not differ between the two species. The advantage for Cannabis indica was statistically significant for the treatment of pain, assisted in sedation and sleep.

Cannabis sativa was preferred for euphoria and for energy increase. Conditions that have reached statistical significance for Cannabisindica were: non-migraine headache, glaucoma , neuropathy, spasticity and joint pain. For Cannabis sativa, no conditions were significant.
