Introduction to Cultivation

There are very few plants that do just as well outside in the garden or at home in pots…

most people think that gardening < span class = "hps"> is just seasonal matter , but the garden needs to be cared for all year round to make it all more beneficial and also less n annual . If we'd like to try gardening all year , it is necessary to know a lot of basic gardening technician for efficient winter garden maintenance. You don't have to worry about any problems. Growing these plants has minimal requirements for attention and space.

The most important thing is to connect a gardener and a country. s s Nature is indeed spiritually enriching . Why not try to speak to the plants nicely, d give them their energy and maternal love? We think all this helps the gardener and the plants, because they respond favorably.
</ span>

It is very important to start with a good genetic basis - quality seeds . Because these seeds are already adapted to the local climate and have only the best features - such as smell, growth rate and breeding resistance or mold or pest resistance. An experienced grower should be able to use all these factors to his advantage, but that is not the end of his work… The easiest varieties of cannabis to grow are hybrids of Indica and Sativa varieties. They have a very good genetic basis and very good growth characteristics from both foundations.

Cannabis Sativa vs . Cannabis indica

Indica is robust, very durable and grows to a great height. Sativa variety is very light-intensive and blooms a little later. For these reasons, the best choice is a crossbreed, which is the best choice for its qualities. The hybrid of the above varieties is valued for its qualities such as durability, growth rate, plant height, maturation time, etc.

The Indica variety is easily recognized by its extremely wide leaves, which are strongly rounded on the sides. The Sativa variety has very narrow leaves similar to human fingers. The hybrid of these varieties has the characteristics of both. The leaves are either thinner than Indica or much wider than Sativa. Of course, there are both types of leaves on one plant ( hybrid plant ). Carefully inspect seeds that should be dark brown or light gray. Some may be dark striped, similar to tiger stripes Beware of white and small seeds! These are immature and are totally unsuitable. See Seed quality and selection . >

uninterrupted light . All growers know that it is far more efficient than outdoor light. The natural cycle of day and night rotation reduces growth by about half compared to uninterrupted light. Advantage here cannabis autoflowering varieties . You can try to build a small greenhouse or homebox for these purposes. The building can be built of fiberglass or PVC boards, which are harmless when growing. It is unlikely that you will attract much attention because the building looks almost like a storage hall or shed. If you want to increase the number of harvests and do not use hydroponics, it is best to set up a small growing plant . The growing room is suitable for all kinds of indoor varieties, vegetables and herbs. In winter, the inner space is used to plant new seedlings or young cuttings ( the benefits of seeds versus cuttings, or not cutlet as cuttings ). In the spring, plants move to the outside because sunlight just needs sunlight. This routine provides at least 3 outdoor or greenhouse crops per year. If more space is available, new and new seedlings can always be planted indoors. The flowering plants are then placed outdoors. ( outdoor briefly </ a >). They can then be harvested every 60 days. Even a small winter harvest can be counted.

The basic strategy for year-round cultivation is to understand that cannabis plants have two growth cycles . When germinating, plants enter vegetative state and need as much light as possible . They then grow much faster than they would use only sunshine (the day and night cycle). steady light.

Once the cannabis plants are 30.5 - 45cm tall, plants begin to bloom and pass to flowering stage </ span >. But the plants should be blooming in spring or autumn. Other times, vegetative growth can be prolonged with the help of artificial lighting (see FLOWER ). Day and night rotation cycle (outdoor) is desirable at the time of flowering, when plants need about 10-13 hours of light per day . Maturation lasts 2-3 months, then the plants are ready to harvest. If the plants no longer receive 10 - 13 hours of light per day, they begin to prepare for the winter. The vegetative period begins around March 1 with maturing around May 1. This period can also be moved to May 1 with maturity around July 1st. Plants move into the interior (greenhouse or hall) between 1 September and 1 November. Seeding work and wintering of seeds for the next season are in progress. The harvest is recommended for May.

For seed germination is enough very little space. The vegetative part of plant life begins in the spring when it does not freeze, except in the spring. Germination can take place, for example, in a closet, in a cellar or in an unused attic or bathroom. Some people spend the whole bedroom growing here (according to the depth of your hobby :)).

There should be enough air in the space. Air is often a neglected factor and a frequent stumbling block for many growers. If the cabinet is not lit by large lights that generate large amounts of heat, we can leave the door open. Of course, the entry vents are the best - one at the top of the space and one from the outside wall or under the floor. You can try old computer cabinets, which can be obtained from electronic liquidators for 125 CZK per piece. For better quality we recommend the popular Homebox and some fan. The fan is then suitable for example a thermostat or a fan speed and noise regulator. Aluminum pipes and joints are easy to assemble as a good air duct. When using PVC pipes (10-15 cm) in the floor and ceilings, we can use the chemical properties of silicon. Its use absorbs vibrations so the walls don't oscillate.

Cover the walls with aluminum antidetection foil , the back side spreading more light and preventing heat leaks. Another option is to coat the walls with a bright white color that naturally reflects light. We do not recommend using mirrors, because glass is absorbing light!

Change the socket voltage setting and make sure the power line will supply power to your lamps. Always install sockets and switches above floor level to avoid short circuits or other accidents if water is spilled on the floor. It is precisely because of these cases that the so-called backing foils serve, for example, against heating.

Note: The overhead shelf can be used to germinate seeds or cuttings. This allows you to double your growing area and is a valuable storage space for plant nutrition (fertilizer), sprayers and other gardening supplies. These places remain very warm, so the seeds are germinated here. This arrangement will save you considerable money.

Separate the shelves from the main area you use for flowering plants with a sheet or curtain. This little thing will allow a steady supply of light to the shelves. It is possible to use Velcro to keep the curtain in place. Of course, the best alternative is black vinyl with a white background.

Get the light now . You will need one milky white light bulb with cold light and one clear with warm light each plant . It is necessary to ensure the best possible light spectrum for plant growth. Do not use too expensive light bulbs because they will not provide more light anyway, so it is not effective lighting. If you only have cold white lights, use them. They are the cheapest and they work quite well.

Shelf Growing

width =

Shelf-growing with fluorescent light - this could be a new trend for the future because shelves are easy to reach almost everywhere. Fluorescent lamps are the ideal solution for shelves. strong>. A large number of shelves can be deployed in this system and a fluorescent lamp is assigned to each shelf. Some shelves have a light set for 24 hours (germination), some for 12 hours (flowering). For these two stages, shelf cultivation is definitely the best.

Shelves should be about one meter apart because hemp plants are expected to be up to 7.5 cm tall. There is no need to provide plants with more light than needed because plants will mature too soon. A possible disadvantage of shelf cultivation is that it is necessary to change the lamp height adjustment every day, which is harder than it may seem. This is especially true for the vegetative phase, when cannabis plants grow up to one centimeter a day. Lamps on a flowering shelf do not need to be altered so often.

Normally, the lamps should be about 5 inches above the top of the plant. Therefore, set the lamps so that the range does not change. Shifting all the lamps takes about one full day. It is necessary to set the lamps correctly so that the plants have enough light and at the same time not too little, because they would be too thin, which is undesirable for plants.

The top shelf of the cabinet can be considered an alternative to germinating, cutting or growing seedlings . But then we need to set up switches for the vegetative and flowering stage . The advantage is that the installation of lights does not require setting the lamp height. All you have to do is mount the lamp on the bottom shelf as high as possible, and if you want the hemp plants to be closer to the light, put them on the shelf for a definite period of time.

The shelf is all that is needed for this type of cultivation. They should preferably be 45 cm wide. This space must be painted with a very bright white or aluminum foil coated so that the reverse side reflects the light back toward the plant. Do not use mirrors as the glass absorbs light. Even the shelf should be painted white or covered with protective foil.

Unhook the chain lamps to make sure they are placed on adjustable hooks or some other type of mechanism. Make sure that the lamps can be as close to cannabis plants as possible (5 cm from the top of the plant!).

The reason is the length of the stalks that are then too long and thin. The stem is a stem with leaf sets. If it is shorter, more branches can be created, so more buds at harvest time.

The minimum illumination should be at least 2000 lumens per 900 cm2 . If you give less light to plants, you will definitely not speed up the growth, and you will also be prolonging the cannabis stalks, which is undesirable! The distance between plants and light is also much more problematic. In this case, adjustments to the lamps are needed every day, which means constant care without having a break. The optimum lighting value is about 3000 lumines, or the possibility of enriching the environment with CO2 (CO2 enrichment lower and enrichment in the growshop).

Most growers consider using high-pressure lamps as the best solution. These lamps are available in 3 basic variations:

  • Sodium (HPS)
  • halide (MH)
  • combined (MIX)
  • mercury

Sodium Lamps

Sodium lamps have a yellowish light, sometimes they may look a little pinkish or panic as well as street lamps.

Cannabis plants can be grown with sodium lamps throughout their growth and flowering - their great advantage. Tests show that crops mature using sodium lamps up to 1 week earlier than using halide lamps, but with the use of metal halide lamps, we will achieve greater yields. Perhaps the easiest is to buy fluorescent lamps and mercury lamps initially (they are the cheapest). Combined lamps are almost twice as efficient as they provide about 8,000 lumens to 175 watts. Unfortunately, they don't deliver too wide a range of colors.

Sodium lamps are suitable for beginners. Sodium lamps in the growshop.

Sodium lamps are ideal for flowering stage , while metal halide lamps are best for vegetative growth . Combined lamps provide the worst light spectrum distribution for plant growth, but they are very cheap. However, we do not recommend buying them, even if the consumption-efficiency ratio outweighs any initial issues.

A 400 watt sodium lamp delivers about 45 lumines. For every 500 watts (in continuous operation), the cost of electricity consumption is CZK 500 per month, so it is clear that the half-power lamp will deliver the same amount of lumines (or even twice as much lumines as the same power). </ěry

Make a simple initial cost estimate right from the start. Growth rate and profitability need to be taken into account, because if plants have more light, they grow faster and produce more biological matter. If this is included in the calculation of the yield of sodium lamps, the cost will be returned from the first harvest. It is simply a more efficient and faster alternative (as opposed to halide lamps).

Lamp Type Watts Light Luminous Overall Performance
mercury lamps 175 8000 400 watts = 20k lumens
fluorescent tube 40 3000 400 watts = 30k lumens
halide 400 36000 400 watts = 36k lumens
sodium 400 45000 400 watts = 45k lumens

Mercury lamps

mercury vapor lamps are less effective than fluorescent lamps and will not give plants enough light even when placed just above the plant. Unfortunately, the distribution of the light spectrum is not very good either. Mercury lamps are simply not suitable for indoor use. Use fluorescent, halide, or sodium lamps .

A new type of Osram sodium lamp is currently available. It is available in the range of 250 - 1000 watts. It provides very bright light (53k luminosity) and is intended for greenhouse use. These lamps can replace conventional sodium lamps if you already have sodium lamps. The main advantage of this bulb is that you do not have to give up the benefits of mercury lamps. You get all the positive properties of sodium and mercury lamps = two bulbs in one.

The stem lengths of cannabis plants grown under the Osram lamp are shorter than under any other type of lamp. Cannabis plants grown under this lamp grow very fast and are incredibly dense, compact. However, the lifetime of Osram bulbs is not as great as that of a normal sodium bulb.

Halide lighting is another option, providing 36k - 40k lumens per 400 watt bulb. A super light bulb (40kL) is also available, which is longer than a conventional metal halide lamp (36kL). Halide lights are blue and are very suitable for vegetative growth, even more than normal sodium lighting.

Attention, metal halide lamps produce too much heat, but not too much light is demanding on proper shielding. It must also pay attention to the distance from the plant!

& gt; and>

conversion bulbs for mercury lamps that can be converted to sodium-type lighting. However, the cost of transferring bulbs is significantly higher than on halide lighting. We would rather recommend sodium bulbs (Agro). Even though they are starting to spend more money, they ultimately provide more energy and are much easier to hang.

If you want to choose between 36k luminous and 53k luminous mercury lighting, and decide which option is best? Which will provide a better return? Obviously, the initial cost of acquiring Agro sodium lamps is higher, but in reality their consumption is roughly 10% lower .

sodium bulb (21 hours) and mercury bulbs (10 hours). Longer lamp life provides more light, which saves a lot of electricity costs in the long term.

Horizontal mounting of all lights is a good choice, which will increase the amount of light that can be received by cannabis up to 30%. The horizontal installation of lights is most often used for winter gardens. Sodium lamps are much cheaper in terms of operating costs than other types of bulbs.

Two 140-watt (12k lumens) sodium lamps are better than halide in all respects. The life of the bulbs is longer, the bulbs are cheaper and the lamps are more efficient. The biggest problem is that the medium size lamps (150 and 250 watts) are almost as expensive as the larger 400 watts. For this reason, if you have room for more light, buy 400 watts instead. A 1080 watt model is also produced, but you may find it rather one big lamp. Of course, two smaller bulbs are more expensive than one big lamp, but why are unnecessarily big monsters that will rather alert your neighbors, police or thieves to your gardening?

Bulb Cost:

Sodium 70 Watt - $ 20

Sodium 100 watt - $ 30

Sodium 150 Watt - $ 100

Please note that bulbs with a power output lower than 70 watts are only for cultivation support, but cannot replace the full light itself. They are not very suitable for plant growth. It is clear that the price of lamps is behind the decision whether to purchase a 250 watts sodium lamp (4700, -) or a 400 watts lamp (5500, -). Keep in mind, however, that if you spend more than CZK 800, you get a bigger lamp (400w) and more light for 20k luminosity. That's not so bad business again! Light = harvest.

SEA OF GREEN </ span >

Sea of Green (SoG) is one of the special horticultural techniques that focuses on growing a large number of small cannabis plants concentrated in a small space. Instead of growing several larger cannabis plants for a long time, a larger number of smaller cannabis plants can be grown in the same place, maturing in much less time . Thus, less time is needed between plant growth phases, which is very important in terms of electricity consumption . While one plant is planted, another is already developing, and another is already ready for harvest.

To begin with, just plant 4 cannabis plants per square meter , allowing plenty of room for each plant, leaving little room for bottom branching.

That's okay, because these indoor branches are always in the shade anyway. Every good grower knows very well that cannabis plants that are too high do not produce much green matter on the lower floor. However, if they were growing in some other place (outside), this factor would play no role.

If plant growth begins at the same time, a so-called "green canopy" should be created to capture most of the light at the highest level of cannabis plants. Below this level, little light penetrates, as cannabis plants are very close together. The right grower is trying to focus mainly on the tops of the plants and effectively use light and space to achieve as much revenue as possible in the shortest time .

It's important to get big plants that produce a big yield . However, in the absence of space, it is usually better to grow smaller plants because their maturation is faster!

Horticultural Technology " Sea of Green" (SoG) comes from Holland. Instead of growing just 4 large cannabis plants in the whole room, they grow 12 small on the shelves and above the other 12. to harvest every 45-60 days.

If we grow 1 cannabis plant to 900 cm2, we can say that we use SoG technique . As you grow fewer plants in such a large space, it usually takes longer to grow, and more electricity is consumed. If we grow one plant in less than 900 cm2, the total harvest can be reduced.

If you want your plants to grow fast, avoid excessive watering. Indeed, the dressing is only suitable during the growing season, not during the flowering season.

ATTENTION! Do not use 5x7 breeding mesh to germinate seeds. Informal tests and growers' experience show that they have a negative impact on cannabis plant growth. Although planting in vermiculite provides enough oxygen for the seedlings, it does not support a sufficient root system. So the plant is big enough after a week, but not rooted enough! </ěry

Place seeds in moist, high-phosphorus vermiculite with holes in the bottom. Don't mix the soil or plant the plants!

Seeds can also sprout in a paper towel. However, this method is complicated because it can easily destroy the roots that can dry out. They dry out really fast! Place paper towels saturated with a weak nutrient solution (not too much!) In a bowl and cover with foil to prevent drying out.

Take the bowls to heat, for example, on the top gas stove or under the lamp. If possible, check sprouted seeds every 12 hours to see if they germinate in the substrate with the tip . Do not touch the root, use tweezers instead. Sterility is really important for maximum success!

A very diluted solution of distilled water and temperatures ranging from 72 to 80 degrees Celsius are used to stimulate root growth . High temperatures are very important. Many growers complain about slow germination, which is due to the fact that this temperature has not been reached!
The heater is therefore set to a low or medium intensity than reported. It is not necessary to supply any light during germination, it could slow down germination. Therefore, cover the germinating seeds with black paper .

Most of the time, only once, maximum twice is transplanted. Use larger containers to provide plenty of space and get started. However, if you transplant plants at the wrong time, the harvest may be delayed! If you grow plants hydroponically, transplanting is not necessary. Only regenerated plants are replanted. For germination and transplanting briefly step by step HERE.

Fill the vessel with the vermiculite holes in the bottom and transplant germinated seeds carefully . Since vermiculite holds water well enough, there is always enough oxygen, even if it is in the water tank.

Plants must not stand in the water! Be careful, therefore, the roots must remain a bit dry to give the plants enough oxygen.

Use good soil substrates because they are sterile . If you want to use the soil from the garden, be sure to sterilize it in the microwave or let it steam. It is not recommended to sterilize containers with bleaching solution, especially if used last season. You can also revitalize already used land - by disinfecting and cleaning up soil damages.

When the seeds are sprouted, vegetative growth begins. This means that cannabis plants will do photosynthesis . Sheets are also formed with leaves that allow vegetative reproduction . They are located at the top of the plant on all major stems. However, after any pruning, plants need time to regenerate and recover, so most cannabis growers do not propagate vegetatively because of slowing growth.) <<

All cannabis plants go through a vegetative stage where they grow as fast as the existing conditions allow them . So it is good to give them as much space as possible! Plants can be grown vegetatively indefinitely. It is up to the grower to decide how strong the cannabis plant will have and when it starts flowering.

sulfur, magnesium, phosphorus - for flowering and ripening plants).

If it is tall and thin, its growth is not sufficiently supported because it has too little light . Reduce moisture and ventilate enough. Internal air circulation is very important. Helps plants grow and reduce the risks that could destroy crops.

Supplementary fertilizers for the growth phase.
After refinement, plants will have enough of all the main and secondary nutrients and will effectively manage the oxygen that affects proper root growth.

By alternating the 11-13 hour day and night cycle, flowering is stimulated and the plant moves to the flowering stage . The plants gradually phase out the initial vegetative stage and pass into a flowering and fruiting stage. If we want to stop the flowering, it is enough to stop the light and keep the plants in the dark. This is important because marijuana production is still a crime for us!

Once the cannabis plants are large enough ( at least 30.5 cm ) it's time to let them bloom, which requires the use of a timer for creating a regular light and dark . In summer, the greenhouse can achieve the same effect by using a blanket to extend the night. A strict schedule of light and darkness is the cycle after 8 hours for at least 2 weeks. Only then will the plants begin to bloom. After the first two weeks, the plan can be a little relaxed, but it is necessary to continue the established cycle so that the plant does not return to the vegetative growth stage .

In the spring and autumn the nights are long enough to be ideal for plants outside. No restrictions are required. Thus, cannabis plants can bloom naturally.

Especially enough if spruce blooms needs phosphorus and strict light alternation mode and darkness after 12 hours! In mid-May, you can change the light / dark ratio to 13 hours of light to increase flower size. It is important to keep this ratio for at least 8-10 days in order not to reduce total revenue.

You can use two shelves for this purpose ( shelf cultivation ). One shelf where the lights will be set at 12-13 hours of light and the other where the permanent light is set. First, the plants have continuous light, then they are moved to the next shelf where light and dark alternations are set.

For shading, use shades or light narrow shades made of black vinyl or other opaque material that reflects the light back toward the cannabis plants. There must be no light leakage, we can even use a cable. Shielding foils are ideal to ensure proper light deflection towards plants.

As already mentioned, flowering plants have high demands on phosphorus intake. Each dressing should contain a reasonable amount of phosphorus and other trace elements . Trace elements are necessary, so try to find the fertilizer that contains them. Of course, flower fertilizers are designed for this purpose. Iron-rich fertilizers are also suitable for growing herbs . The prices of these series-produced fertilizers are significantly lower than specialized hydroponic fertilizers.

& gt; content

During the flowering phase, the ratio of light and darkness is also very important. The development of the flower is dependent on the amount of light. If you have to grow vegetatively , always do it at night. However, during blooming, limit any pruning.

Flowering plants don't grow too often because you can cause the cause of mold or rot. Keeping humidity indoors is very delicate. At this time of life, plants of all plant species are very sensitive to moisture.

See 2 white hairs based on small bulbous area on each stem. This is the easiest way to verify that your plant is female or male . Male sex can be identified from female by height or shaggy. See image:

Cannabis male and female - plant sex

3 - 6 weeks after changing the light regime, plants are covered with white pistils that grow near the plant's knee. If you think your flowers ripen, reduce the amount of light to 8-10 hours - this will speed up the maturation, the harvest will be followed in 2-3 weeks .

Brief on Outdoor ), even if the days are as long as possible. Males then have white parts resembling flowers. When plants almost reach the top of the flowering phase , the ideal period for creating cuttings (read:

See the white hairs on the stem. The color of the flowers is from shades of red to brown. Do not touch the buds! If you would like to see the buds, this would result in an overall decrease in yield.

Fast growth enables earlier maturation and overall crop growth . With the soil mixture, growth slows down, especially when it is bound to the root system. In contrast, hydroponics offers rapid growth without a pause without shock after transplanting. Hydroponics also severely limits the range of pests.

wick and tank systems. These are mainly passive hydroponic methods because they do not require active water distribution (using a pump, sewer, flow meter, etc.). The basis of these systems is that water is wicked.

Using a wick is more about the system tank, because the wicks must be removed and placed in the pot. It is necessary to fix holes in pots and create space for cannabis plant tanks and water tanks below. Preparation is very simple, just prepare two buckets so that one goes into the other.

The wick should be set to work in the tank. The initial wick setting is very laborious. The basis of the whole system is a pot, which must be sufficiently stable compared to the system tank.

It is desirable to spread the roots well in a horizontal position to give them enough opportunity to grow. Plants grown in this way are very robust because they get a lot of oxygen . Plants grown hydroponically grow at roughly the same rate as plants grown in the soil substrate, with much less effort . Although this may not seem to be the case, hydroponics is by far the simplest method of growing plants. Plants can be attached to fertilizer and poured into the tank every few days.

Traditional hydroponic solutions are composed of a 4: 1 mixture of water and vermiculite . This medium excels in water and air. However, it cannot be used repeatedly because it is difficult to sterilize after harvesting.

The tank is filled to a height of 1.5 - 3cm and is left for several days. It is important to supply enough oxygen to the roots! If you are going to go on holiday, just fill the tank to the edge. The water will remain in the tank for at least two weeks.

nutrient aqueous solution . Complete set of fertilizers for hydroponic cultivation from growshop.

Hydroponics shortens both growth and harvest time - especially the vegetative phase. However, hydroponic cultivation may not be well suited for outdoor greenhouse cultivation.

WARNING: If you grow plants hydroponically, you need to watch the contents of the plant tanks not to dry out, as root damage can occur. If you can't control your garden every day, make sure that the tanks are full enough not to lose crops :)

The classical hydroponic methods (active) will not be discussed here. For we see no reason to make hydroponic cultivation difficult. Rinse the tanks every month to prevent salt accumulation. It is also good to use some cleaning agent to clean the growing media.

Tanks with higher humidity may tend to reproduce and subsequently grow algae . We can tell algae that the color of the tank turns into greenish green shades . To prevent it, it uses plants that are gentle to the plants, forget the savo and the like :)

We'll bring you more about hydroponics with articles in the category " Hydroponics .

Square shape containers are best suited. Containers can also be used if a multi-plant container is used.

Although two-liter Coke bottles are great and cheap, they are not square-shaped.

Do not use milk and juice cartons, sterilize poorly, and sponges may get into the tanks. Glass and plastic are the best material for flower pots.

Make sure you sterilize all containers, preferably hydrogen peroxide . When sterilizing, the container does not want to be in solution for some time. When handling 30 ‰ peroxide it is good to use gloves - peroxide in such a concentration etches the skin.

Outdoor cultivation is the best alternative for plants and the grower's comfort as it provides light without unnecessary electricity bills. There is no light leakage and no need to regulate the amount of light and darkness. Sunlight is the strongest form of lighting and ideal for plants. Unlike home-grown, plants are fully developed over their entire length.

Outside the greenhouse, there is a lot of risk to your plants. They can be damaged by animals, wind, rain, thunderstorms or lusty passers-by…

Build a tall fence and make sure it is solid. Check and guard your land with plants, especially if you don't have them in a greenhouse. Hydroponic cultivation is particularly unsuitable for outdoor use due to water evaporation .

lighting will always play an important role. An outdoor grower must know exactly when and in which intensity the sun shines and be able to find the ideal place to grow for their plants.

Most gardeners don't want to use the greenhouse during the winter. Discussions about growing in a greenhouse or shed are conducted about walls and roofs. Both should be of opaque material, preferably made of plastic or PVC with white or silvery surface. Folding greenhouses in a growshop.

Corrugated laminate, PVC or plastic film can be used to cover young plants that are grown in the garden. You can also buy greenhouse leaves tinted in white or gray. In fact, they accept the maximum of the sun's rays and still hide the cannabis plants.

Pots can be grown to facilitate plant relocation. However, the height of the plant is reduced in this way, and the fence height can be a problem. Many growers store plants in pots to hide them for some unexpected reason (repairer, appraiser, fire, etc.).

poultry, beef or other manure , domestic food waste, leaves, hair, urine, etc.

Many home growers use poultry manure for organic soil fertilization. The inorganic fertilizer is flammable, so it must be composted first, before planting, ideally for several weeks. Seaweed, in turn, is a rich source of trace elements that slowly decomposes and nourishes plants. If you do not want to rummage in manure before we start cultivation, we recommend Basic fertilizers from a growshop or a cost-effective set of fertilizers.

If you have leaves and other natural outdoor nitrogen sources , do not be afraid to use them together with the purchased fertilizer to complement the plant's even better nutrition. Even a small amount of biological material , doing wonders .

Plant Nutrition contains three main ingredients that will be the foundation of your garden, which is nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium . These three elements are usually listed on the front of the diet in the order: nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium . The 20-20-20 diet contains 20% nitrogen. Other elements that cannabis needs are calcium, magnesium, and sulfur (other trace elements) . In small quantities, boron, copper, molybdenum, zinc, iron, and manganese .

What minerals and what ratio a plant needs depends on its current growth phase (growth and flowering stages).

A high level of phosphorus is needed for rooting and germination , but less nitrogen and potassium. In the period of vegetative growth, enough nitrogen is important . A good and also inexpensive source of this element is human urine (about 60ml per liter of water), but it does not serve as a complete fertilizer. Complete nutrition will be provided by 20-20-20 type nutrition with trace elements. You can also try a complete set of fertilizers with a full-fledged basic fertilizer and supplementary flower.

Also watch the calcium, magnesium, sulfur, and iron ratio . These ingredients are also important. Add one tablespoon of dolomite or hydrated lime to about 4kg of growing medium, giving the plant the nitrogen, calcium, and magnesium in the plant. Bitter Salt (magnesium sulphate heptahydrate) is used to increase the amount of magnesium and sulfur in the solution. . More in Supplementary Fertilizers.

Add potassium nitrate to your tobacco growing
and burn it better. This is an excellent fertilizer for both vegetative growth and flowering. The use of this element, but consider, its other effects include reducing libido and may also cause impotence. For these properties it is used in psychiatric hospitals. If you are growing some kind of plant for cooking, you should use a fish emulsion or other completely organic fertilizer, at least in the last weeks of flowering.

Hydroponic solutions should range from 150 to 600 parts per million in dissolved solids . 300 to 400 parts per million is considered the optimal ratio. If you are unsure of what you are giving to your plant, you can test your solution or soil using an electrical conductivity meter - EC testers in the growshop.

Keep in mind that a low solute ratio is often reported, but true nutrient levels tend to be higher. With passive hydroponics (ie growing plants in nutrient solution without soil) it is possible to nourish the plant after several supplies until the soil is saturated with nutrients. Deliver water to plants until you find that your cannabis has the right soft green color, then continue your normal diet.

"Pumping" means you water more to grow the flower faster. If you continue to do this ruthless behavior, there is a risk of potential problems associated with plant spillover . It must be slow to follow the cannabis every day, even every hour at first, to make sure that the plant is not overflowing. Instead of using a poor plant nutrient mix than usual, about 25% and extract once a month. Hemp plants are watered with water at least between each watering. This is especially true for cannabis grown in the soil.

Using Oxygen Plus's fine nutritional strength (or hydrogen peroxide for food) will allow roots to breathe better and prevent spillover problems. Perlite and purifying agents are also used for better aeration of the soil.

P that there are no deviations from the normal that could occur due to hydrogen peroxide in solution.

Make sure your land has good drainage. If you put cannabis in soil with better drainage, you can water it every 3-5 days instead of once a week . Perlite, expanded clay or lava stones greatly increase soil drainage and hence the need for watering. This makes the plants "pumped", ie they tend to grow faster, to increase the amount of oxygen that goes to the roots.

Tip: Make sure the soil is dry before each watering, then the flower will grow faster.

plant nutrient (some stronger) for every third watering. Nutrients are stored in the soil for later use. But after two watering, the nutrients are washed away and in no salt remains. (Not for hydroponics!).

Finish all the nourishment of the plants two weeks before the harvest, so that the plants' fruits do not taste like plant nutrition. (This also applies to hydroponics!).

WARNING: Do not overfill. You can kill your cannabis. Always read the instructions on how to use the fertilizer. Use half of the mixture and mix with water each time you fertilize soil or hydroponics if you are unsure of what your plants will tolerate.

Slowly increase the concentration of the mixture over time. Novice growers tend to over-fertilize their cannabis. Mineral salts will eventually create higher levels of solutes. If the concentration is still too high, use only water for some nourishment. For cannabis grown in pots, wash away water every month. If your plant is REALLY GREEN green, don't feed it for a while to refrain from feeding it.

pH - alkalinity and soil acidity

PH (acidity or alkalinity) can create but also destroy your nutrient solution. 6.7 - 6.2 is the ideal pH to avoid nutrient locking . Hydroponics requires a solution with the right pH before planting the plant. Phosphoric acid can lower the pH, lime or potassium carbonate again, if the soil is too acidic. We recommend you to buy a pH meter. You can measure it with pH in both soil and water and hydroponics to make sure there is not too basic or acidic. In most soils, just add a little bit of vinegar to create the right environment with a pH of about 7 to 6.5 . But it's not that accurate.

Adding fertilizer to the soil almost always results in a more acidic pH. The amount of salt produced by spreading the fertilizer in the soil over time will cause the soil to be increasingly acidic . Finally, the accumulation of these salts in the soil slows the growth of the plant and causes their leaves to brown. Also, as the plant ages, the ability of their roots to transfer nutrition to the leaves decreases. To avoid accumulation of salts in your soil and to ensure that your plant gets all the nutrition it needs, you can start nourishing the leaves when the plant is about one and a half months old. Dissolve the fertilizer in warm water and spray the mixture directly onto the leaves . They absorb fertilizer into their veins.

Be careful not to overdose the plant if you want to continue to fertilize the soil and also feed the leaves!

2 . Prepare tea from worm castings, fish emulsions, faeces, or most other plant nutrients for nourishment in a vegetative or early flowering phase. However, it is not suitable for late flowering, then do not consume sprayed cannabis. Finish feeding leaves 2-3 weeks before harvest. Wash the leaves with water every week to prevent clogging of the leaf vent. Nourish every day or every day.

The best time to feed the leaves is between 7 am and 10 am in the morning after 5pm. This is because the vents on the underside of the leaves are open at this time. It is also important to monitor the temperature. Ideally it is around 22 ° C and when it exceeds 28 ° C, the vents do not have to open at all. Therefore, on hot days, use their cooler parts and on warmer days on warmer days. You may need to spray leaves at 2 am if this is the best time in the heat due to cold temperatures. Sprayers should spray the solution in a very fine mist. Use the best and finest spray that you will find. Make sure the pH is between 7 and 6.2. If the pH is lower, you can increase it by adding baking soda. And if it is higher than 7 then lower it when you add vinegar to the solution. It is better to spray more often and less than soak too much with less frequent but more intense spraying. Use a wetting agent to prevent water from coming up from the edges to burn leaves that look like fries. Do not spray on heated tubers. Top spray until the tubers cool.

Perhaps the best leaf nutrition is the one that contains mineral water and nutrition for plants. Thus, CO 2 and nutrients get directly into the sheets in one spray. Foliar nutrition is recognized in many books as a good way to get nutrients into the plant at a time when problems with locked nutrients could begin to reduce root supply.

UPORONY !: It is important to wash your leaves before you dry them . They may be salt nitrates.

NOTE: Salt Nitrates (this "N" in NPK - nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) are unhealthy to smoke. Fertilizing leaves are affective but herbs are then unhealthy to smoke and cook.

If you increase your carbon dioxide levels, you can greatly increase your growth , perhaps even doubling it. Cannabis seems to have been born in prehistoric times, when the natural level of CO 2 was many times higher than today . The plant uses CO 2 for photosynthesis to form sugars that are essential for tissue building. Increasing CO 2 increases the ability of cannabis to produce these sugars and significantly accelerates growth rates.

CO 2 can be produced safely with CO2 dispensing systems. C O 2 is most used at flowering time when the plant is densest and the air is strongest around its leaves. If you grow herbs in the room (and move it out in the flowering phase), then enough CO 2 will not be a big deal if you don't have a darkened greenhouse, chamber or room and want to increase crops and shorten flowering time .

The most convenient addition to CO2 is by using a system designed to feed on CO2 tablets. More in the Growshop in the Air Conditioning section.

In small rooms, the supply can take 2 months, but it depends on how much CO 2 is released, how often the room is lufted, the light cycle, the openings in the room and the way distraction. This method may be excessive for small homeboxes. In general, it is recommended to have a weak constant CO 2 flow on the plants as long as the light is on and the fans are off.

There are ways to keep CO 2 in your room, but it may cost you something. When it is off, you don't need CO 2 , that is, in the flowering phase. If you purchase the CO 2 solenoid and set the timer, you will consume half the CO 2 . Similarly, CO 2 will be turned off when the fan is on air. The shining time and the amount of gas is actually dosed for the plant.

2 generators, baking soda and vinegar also create CO2. </ěry

Alternative Ways to 2

Alternative methods are not always optimal because they are not easy to regulate automatically and require daily attention. However, it is possible to make CO 2 by fermentation, when the wine is transformed into vinegar and poured onto baking soda.

sodium bicarbonate with vinegar (1 teaspoon, ie about 30ml). The mixture turns off as CO 2 escapes.

60g sugar in 2 liters of water in a bottle (which we first sterilized with H2O2 peroxide and water, then rinse) and a few ml of urine or you can use brewer's yeast . Add, shake, and leave at 25 ° C . Over the next two weeks, it will create about 0.5g CO 2 for every gram of ingested sugar . P ro a regular supply of co2 is good to make this solution about 3 days .

With the addition of CO 2 , growth is phenomenal !!! We've seen an increment of 38cm in 8 days under a 250-watt bulb (bright, tubular, horizontal fixing).

mineral water twice a day. However, some authors do not recommend this. However, there are some who cannot praise this method because it seems to result in greater crops. It can work in a small, unventilated room, but only in some situations. It is mineral water, not soda water, because it contains less sodium that could cause clogging in the plant's vent!

Wash the plant after two or three sprays of mineral water. It's a lot of work and can't be automated, but it might pay off and return interest on the crop. Use soda only if you do not get mineral water, it contains about twice as much sodium. Another factor in using mineral water is that it increases moisture. Make sure you have adequate ventilation, as moisture increases the risk of mold .

WARNING : Do not spray too hot a bulb. Just spray downwards or turn off the lamp first.

Although enriching CO 2 may that it means more harvest of 30-100% , the difficulty, cost, space, hazard and time involved associated with it can make a desirable alternative to this enrichment from continuous or near continuous ventilation. If a plant still has the ability to accept CO from the air, where it is more than 0.02% , it will provide the necessary nutrients for photosynthesis. Most closed rooms need new CO to enter at least every two to three hours 2 . In most cities there are high CO concentrations 2 in the air, so some growers consider in these circumstances to add more CO 2 useless.

A high concentration of CO 2 in a room near harvest is said to reduce efficiency. It is therefore better to stop delivering CO 2 .

what moisture accumulates requires lufting at least a few times a day. The room where the lamp shines that generates heat is best if there is only one that will shine within 5 minutes, then it should turn off for 25 minutes before further ventilation. ( or 3 minutes ventilation, 12 minutes off, etc .. )

The problem is to find a timer that can do that. See switches or auxiliary electrical sections. It's not easy or cheap. If you need to control power on and off

A cheaper alternative can be a thermostat that turns the fan on when a certain temperature is reached and turns it off when the temperature is about 4 ° C lower. But it's not easy to co-ordinate leakage with it </ span> CO 2 because you don't know when the fan is blowing. All you want is a fan that cleans the air in a few minutes, a temperature switch that turns the fan on and off, an inverse switch that turns the power on and off CO 2

You can use two types of synchronized timers . The synchronization of ventilation, gas and light is quite difficult, and each grower has a distinctive style on the subject. It is necessary to test what is best for the grower and for the plant. (it depends a lot on the conditions like Homebox size or equipment and can't even be discussed here)

A good fan valve will keep low humidity and temperature and spread CO 2 on plants coming from new air. See fan add-ons.

i internal movement The oscillating fan should be used to flow air in a room where you grow, using the circulation CO 2 . This also helps keep humidity low so the air absorbs more moisture , thereby reducing the risk of mold . A fan placed on the wall does not take up an unnecessarily valuable floor space. The best growing rooms are the ones that have the largest indoor air circulation.

The right temperature is a very variable factor. In most books, it is believed that the optimum temperature for growing is between 21 ° C and 27 ° C , but there are situations where the temperature may be higher. Assuming that genetics is not important, plants are able to absorb more light at higher temperatures , possibly up to 32 ° C. Due to the large amount of light and high level, the temperature could rise to 35 ° C to accelerate growth. New data is just 35 ° C as the optimum temperature that counts with very high light, enriched with CO 2 0.15% & good regular ventilation </ strong> to keep low humidity. It is not yet certain whether these temperatures reduce the plant's strength during the flowering phase. Therefore, it is better to lower the temperature when the first flowers appear to keep the force, even though it may slow the growth. Due to higher temperatures, vegetative growth will increase many times, causing metabolism to arise, but only if the desired levels are available CO 2 and light and humidity are not too high.

With normal level CO 2 In a well-ventilated area, 32 ° C appears as the absolute maximum, while 29 ° may be closer to the optimum C, even with plenty of available light. Don't let room temperature exceed 35 ° C, because it can have a negative impact on growth. The optimum temperature is between 27 ° C and 30 ° C , if you have a strong light and do not deliver to the room CO 2 . Temperatures below 21 ° C are too low for good growth.

Low night temperatures are good if they don't drop below 15 ° C. Then they experience a great deal of growth. An air temperature of about 10 ° C will cause a slight shock to the plants, and if the temperature often drops to 5 ° C, it can kill the plant. Keep your plants warm, especially roots . (when growing outdoors in a pot, be careful not to cool the pot). Put the pot in a higher place if you think the earth is sucking the heat from the roots. This problem can occur when you have a tile or other kind of cold floor. You can use a backing sheet to help protect against flooding.

As the temperature rises, the ability of the air to hold water increases, increasing humidity. Therefore, a higher average temperature increases the risk of mold.

Although some articles disprove this, a high level of moisture for plants is not appropriate except for the period sprouting and spicing. strong> Lower moisture level helps plant to evaporate CO 2 & lt; / a>.

Studies show that as temperatures rise, buds lose weight . So it is important to know that the plant should not be exposed to too high temperatures during flowering.

It's really important to be very careful about pests , or all of your efforts may get very little or no return. The worst is mites and aphids . Beware of whiteflies, caterpillars and molds for a long time . With the help of insecticide you can start to grow in the room with a clean shield, just have a good spray. Immunity enhancers also exist to enhance plant immunity.

When you bring the plants from outside to the room, use spraying on all the leaves, both from above and below, as well as on the soil. Watch them for a week or two. This should resolve the situation for one or two months, which is long enough to avoid pre-harvesting.

Mold is another obstacle to a successful growing season. When the flowers are about half-flowering, they become prone to mold and rotting buds. The best conditions for mold are temperatures between 15 ° C and 27 ° C and high humidity!

Molds are very destructive and fast spreading. The spore type of fungus travels through the air to another bud. Therefore, it is impossible to prevent or stop it if climatic conditions allow it to grow. If you are out of luck and molds start attacking your plants, you must remove them immediately to avoid spreading to other places where you grow. You can try Plagron Bio Protector or the pest shop in the growshop.

Do not spray if you have never had problems with molds before! Keep low humidity , ventilate the room, and keep plants out of houseplants . Don't wait until the flower blooms. It is not advisable to spray the fungicide directly on the flowers. If the flowers are infected with mold, they must be trimmed.

aphids . You can also use tobacco spraying on the mites and pour ground chili peppers into it. If you want to save, create a spray from some dishwashing detergent. However, it is not 100 percent as a preservative.

Spider Mites are by far the worst criminals in our garden. Plants transmitted from outside to indoor are often infected by pests and threaten to infect the entire indoor. It is much more efficient to work with the seasons and to revive plants in the summer outside of it than to bring it home and regenerate under constant light. It is ideal to start growing at home and put it out in the spring to bloom ( vice versa ). Collect the crop, then nourish the whole summer with nitrogen and the plant will regenerate naturally to bloom again in the fall. Once the plant has caught up outside, leave it there. (valid for warmer locations than the country)

If you move quickly and sensitively while transplanting, then the plant should only suffer a light shock or suffer none . cycle of growth just transplanted twice or at best only once . Transplanting you and the plant too! It takes it's complicated, it's hard work and threatens plants. Move to the largest largest container possible, the best is a square pot.

It is better to have fewer seedlings than too many that need to be constantly transplanted. Just then transplanting only once before harvesting. Replace 2l of water bottle before flowers begin to appear. To regenerate this plant after harvest, move it to the larger pot after it goes back to vegetative growth . If you have enough space, you can use a 20l flower pot. Otherwise, a 10-15l container should suffice.

One final tip:

female . This may cause some growers to have female / male plants at 80%: 20%.

& gt; content

It can be said that the sex of plants is determined early, so you can expel female plants from the main cultivation area earlier by covering the bottom branches for 12 hours a day while the plant is under steady light . Use a black bag or something similar to allow airflow while protecting the plant from light-shading and shielding foil. Determine a regular cycle with the branch covered. If light is shining on them, may not indicate at all .

Use a magnifying glass to find the gender at the beginning of flowering. The male plant will have something like small crosses (color in the cards) before the flower and below them a small stem . The flower of a female plant usually has a white , a thin simple or double pistil , coming out of the immature chalice. See image.

male individuals. Many growers who have their plants outside do not want to devote time, space and energy to males. plants. Simply put a 12 hour light cycle on the plants for two weeks, separate the females from the males, then return to the light cycle after 18-24 hours to continue the vegetative growth of the female plants. Keep in mind that this is a time-consuming process that can delay plant growth by 2 weeks .

Don't get rid of male plants this way if you don't have enough time. Just cover one branch on each plant with black (thin and breathable) paper 12 hours a day, when there is steady light to show flowers earlier and you will soon discover the plant sex. </ span >

Cannabis can be harvested and then vegetatively restored for the second or even third harvest! The second harvest can be done in as little as 6-8 weeks. Since the stem and roots are already developed, the plant can produce a second or third crop of buds in just a little longer than half the original harvest time. . The top third of the plant is being harvested.

Leaving the healthiest foliage leaves in the middle of the plant, the buds are cut off the branches carefully. Remove the flowering flowers on the lower third of the herb, but leave a few small flowers on each branch. These become part of a plant that will be regenerated . The more buds you leave on the plant, the faster it will recover. Immediately after harvesting, deliver some high nitrogen nutrition - such as California's earthworms - to the plant.

Make sure that it has never suffered from a lack of nitrogen during the development process before restoring the plant. This would cause all leaves exposed to the sun to fall and the plant they would not have to come back to life because of their shortage.

It will take about a week or two before you see the first signs of new growth. As has been said, unlike normal growth, buds appear on the lower branches first. Let the plants grow a little vegetatively, then put them back to bloom again. Or leave them at home and prune them.

- Now you have two or three generations of plants in different growth stages, so you need more space outside. But now you'll reap twice as often. It is possible that every 30 days because you have new clones or growing seedlings, vegetative plants ready for flowering and regenerated plants that are also in the flowering phase.

Room regeneration can cause problems if your plant is infected with pests. In this case, it is best to separate a separate room at home that will not allow plants to infect the main interior spaces. An alternative to home regeneration is regenerating the outdoors in the summer. Just simply harvest in June, then let the plant regenerate by leaving a few lower buds and leaves from the middle of the plant. Nourish it with nitrogen fertilizer (canna Tera Vega) and get a good supply of light . It will regenerate all summer and much of the autumn when it begins to bloom naturally.

pruned for plant support at some point to produce as much as possible and stayed healthy. Pruning the lower branches allows for greater airflow in indoor growing conditions and creates notches for cloning. This will also force the plant to translate its power into the top branches that are most exposed to the sun, which also affects the increase in crops.

Pruning Regenerated Plants

side shoots to be trimmed , so that all energy goes to the main regenerated part of the plant. This means once the plant starts Restoring a lot of their shoots, then the bottom branches will be in the shade or not strong enough to hold on. Growth must be diluted on the upper branches so that only the strongest shoots are able to keep.

herbs may be collected for smoking. The plant can provide a lot of smoky material if it is collected before all the old flowers dry and die with new vegetative growth.

Try cropping regenerative plants twice. For the first time, when it starts to regenerate, collect all the buds that do not germinate and then smoke them. And a second time, prune and cut the lower cuttings to clone them and thin the top shoots to make larger buds boil.

If a regenerated plant is not pruned at all, it will be just a stalk, it will not create large buds and the total harvest will be significantly reduced.

Harvesting is a reward and it's the most enjoyable time in the herb garden :)

Herbs are harvested when the flowers mature. Generally maturity is defined as the time when the white pistil begins to turn brown, orange, etc., and begins to withdraw back to the seminal pod . The seed pod is filled with resin, a herbal drug usually intended for seed production, and we have ripe buds with red and white fibers.

It is good to try different collection times for herbs. Don't give in to the unions but decide what you love!

Some herbs weigh more after maturing! That's why growers like to sell them. But you collect a few buds before maturing for yourself, every week until harvest. Then decide what suits you best. Leave the rest to mature completely.

Most new growers want to harvest early because they are impatient. It's alright. Just pick the buds from the middle or top of the plant. It is good to leave it ripen. The top is often mature first. Grab it and let the rest of the plant continue to mature. You may notice that the bottom buds are getting bigger and furier during maturing. Now, more light gets to the bottom of the herb and more breeds.

There are small, so-called Trichomes in many plants. If they are mostly pure and not brown, they are approaching. highest floral fragrance . When they're mostly brownish, the fabric level is dropping, and the flower is already at optimum efficiency that is rapidly diminishing with light and wind.

Watch the plants and learn when flower power reaches its peak. It's not convenient to harvest too late or soon.

Drying herbs is not done in the sun, reducing their effectiveness. Dry slowly in the ventilated area by hanging the buds upside down. That's all you need to have great High :). You can also dry them in a paper bag , which is probably much more convenient. Buds taste great when dried slowly over one or two weeks.

If you're in a hurry, it is also possible to dry a small amount in the microwave. Put it between two sheets of paper or a paper bag. Proceed slowly and watch that the herb is not burned. Use defrosting to make the drying process slower and therefore better . Being smoking in this way will be nothing special.

Dryer or food preserver dries herbs in a few hours, but will not taste the same as slow drying on the net - the drying network in the growshop. This allows you to speed up the harvest time (which can sometimes be nervous with all that is related to herb cultivation).

Dry buds to the stem are quite fragile and can crush. Therefore, dry them in closed plastic food containers and rotate them daily for two weeks.

One experienced grower advised me to dry in an uninsulated place (like a garage). There the temperature will rise and fall every night the plant is dried. If you treat the plants as if they are still alive, they will use their chlorophyll during the drying process and the smoked material will be less bitter.

If you manage to dry the herbs, we have added a little orange peel to the night bag. Herbs also catch a nice citrus aroma. </●

Cloning is asexual reproduction. Cuttings are taken from the parent plant in vegetative growth and roots in the hydroponic environment to be grown as a separate plant. The offspring will be the same as the mother plant. But for cloning a good cut is needed because is not cutlet like cutlet .

Cloning retains the character of your favorite plant. You can use it to create lots of green from one plant. It is a powerful plant growing tool and quickly fills the room with your favorite plants. When you find the plant you want to "be friends with" for the rest of your life, you can keep its genetic character alive for decades and transfer it to your children's kids. Reproduce it and share it with others to keep a copy of it so your species won't die out. A clone can be taken from a clone at least twenty times, but probably more than once. So don't be afraid of the myths of reduced clone vitality. According to many records, this is not a problem.

pest resistance and their effectiveness. The quality of intoxication and the type of pleasure will be a significant factor.

Separate the cloning cuttings before the plant gets out of the vegetative growth into flowering stage . The lower branches are trimmed for air circulation under the green cover. Rooted clones are moved to the vegetative growth region, and new clones begin to attach to the cloning region using scraps from low branches. Each growth cycle will last 4-8 weeks so you can constantly grow in 3 different stages and harvest every 6-8 weeks.

Some plant species are more difficult to clone n style> span lang = "cs" style = "font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;" xml: lang = "en"> other. Big Bud is not supposed to clone very well. One of our favorite plants is Arjan Haze 2 .

When the drug is harvested, you can try it and decide whether to clone the plant or not. For cloning, choose your favorite two or three distinct varieties . The plants you want to clone can be regenerated by keeping them in constant light. In a few weeks you will have many vegetative cuttings for cloning and preserving your favorite variety.

Always keep your mother plant in vegetative status for each variety you want to keep. If all the clones bloom, you can have the variety eradicated if you do not have any plant dedicated to the mother.

Any herb can be cloned after two months. You can also clone flowering plants, but the procedure takes much longer. It is best to wait and vegetatively regenerate the plants that have already been harvested.

One regenerated / harvested plant can create hundreds of cuttings. Before separating the cuttings, deny the plant a supply of nitrogen for at least a week, so that it is not too green, because it would take longer to take root. Cut the cuttings from the lower third of the plant when you are doing regular pruning. Cut off the ends of young shoots from the vegetative stage of a mature plant with a height of 80-130cm and a stem section of 2.5-5cm. Cut with a sterile razor blade or hot knife and immerse the cut end of the clone in a container of distilled water and fertilizer.

Cut 5 cm further from the bottom end with a slant cut when underwater. Remove the clone from the container and immerse it in the cloning solution according to the label instructions. Sprinkle the root booster and place it in the cloning area. Even flowering plants can be cloned, but it can take longer and may not be so successful.

Leave the light on for 24 hours a day. Cuttings should release roots within 2-3 weeks.

A greenhouse or a good homebox should keep up to 90% moisture. Liquid rooting hormones seem to be much more effective than powder ones.

Try ready-made products to speed up rooting - see Root Stimulators. Be sure to add sugars during cloning.

Also use a free-flowing fungicide to make sure your clones do not infect mold. This is important because both clones and fungi like the conditions you will create for good rooting, and they are:

  • mild light
  • 22-27 ° C
  • high humidity

If you leave the cuttings rooted in cotton, just keep a 6 cm solution in the container so that the wool stays moist all the time. Make sure the clones are evenly distributed and spray them once a day to keep them moist and fresh. If the clones are infected or moribund, pull them out and put them away from the healthy ones. For germination, it is excellent to use cheap planting cubes.

Another method is the Aerophone Schnitzel. Take all the large leaves and leave only small leaves on the plant, leading to a reduction in the demand for a new spice stem. Aerate the solution with compressor and air stone. For best results, keep the solution temperature at 22-27 ° C. If you do not use a compressor and air stones, you need to change the solution every day, so that the cuttings always have oxygen available. After a week, cut off the yellowing leaves from the cuttings to reduce the need for water when the cuttings start rooting.

Buy a special container for rooting with a transparent hatch. For clones, you must maintain a very high humidity level.

Check twice a day to see if the cubes are wet, not soaked or dry! Roots begin to appear at the bottom of the cuttings after 2-3 weeks. Move them to where you grow now . But be careful not to break the rooted roots.

/ span>

  • Prepare cuttings by removing large leaves to heal </ li >
  • When the cuttings are underwater, make the final sloping cut on the stem to release the roots. / span>
  • Stab some 5cm deep in a half-liter cup. which is half filled with vermiculite and half perlite, which is stored in a polystyrene cooling box, spray the cuttings with a very fine universal fertilizer
  • Cover the crate with a clear foil or bag, then pierce a few holes for ventilation </ span>
  • Keep the cool box at moderate temperatures, low light, and spray every day
  • Cuttings should root out in about 3 weeks </ strong>

Cloning is not as easy as starting to plant seeds . With seeds you can have a 50cm tall plant in just 6 weeks or even earlier. With clones it can take 6 weeks for the plant to grow roots and grow. Seeds develop twice as fast if you have unnecessary empty space that needs to be used quickly.

There are two ways today. The easiest way is to multiply the seeds. It is possible to grow and choose cuttings from plants that grow, bloom and mature faster. Some varieties will naturally be better than others in this respect, and it is easy to choose not only from the plants most capable of cloning or growing, but also from the fastest growing / flowering. Find your fastest growing plant and multiply it with the "best-scolding" male for the fastest flowering variety with powerful effect. Tilt your fastest, most performing herb for the fastest possible single-crop garden. Over time, it will save you a lot of waiting for the plants to mature.

Když samčí odrůda začíná kvést (o 2-4 týdny dříve než samičí), měla by být odstraněna od samičích, ať je neopýlí. Přesuňte ji do oddělené místo.

Samci prořezáváni tímto způsobem zůstanou napořád naživu a budou i nadále produkovat květy, pokud bude vyhovující temné období.

Pokud opylujete příliš brzy, nemusí to fungovat.

Obalte pytlík kolem větve a utěsněte jej na větev. Prudce zatřeste větví. Po několika minutách namočte papírový sáček pomocí spreje a pak jej opatrně odstraňte. Vezměte si ještě velký plastový sáček se zipem a navlékněte jej přes větve samce a setřepte nepřichycený pyl.

Carefully remove the bad and turn on the bag. It should be very dusty from pollen. For pollination, place it on a separate branch of the female, turn it around the stem so that no pollen escapes. Shake the bag while branching. Allow to sit for about an hour or two and shake again. Remove the bag after a few hours. Your branch is now well pollinated and signs of visible seed production should appear within two weeks. From the ripe seeds, the calyx is divided into 3-6 weeks. One pollinated branch can create hundreds of seeds, so there is usually no need to pollinate more than one or two branches.

When crossing two different varieties, a new third plant variety is created. If you know what qualities you are looking for in a new variety, you will need a few plants to choose from so that you have the best chance of finding all the desired qualities. Sometimes, if plant species have dominant genes for certain properties, it will be impossible to get the plant you want from one crossing.

In this case, it is necessary to cross two plants from the same group of resulting seeds from the initial cross. In this way, retreating genes become available and you can only get the properties of the plant you require in this way.

hybrid vigor ". In other words, it often happens that the best tribes are created by taking two very different species and pairing them. Crossing may result in less resistant plants because it opens up the characteristics of retreating genes that can lead to a reduction in efficacy.

When a female plant cannot be pollinated, resin will develop on the sticks. The gum was originally intended for seeds. False seed pods are filled with a full-bodied resin and the pistils are blushing and orange, pulling into the pod. Then the plant is harvested .

Seeds are not part of the bud when the flowers are ripe.

It is possible to cross two of your favorite female varieties and create a new kind of seeds that will only produce female plants . Preferably, these two crossed plants will be different species, not the same mother seeds .

This will create the best descendants because it will not be a cross between relatives . It is easier to measure the quality of female plants than the male ones because they have more effective smoking properties and their fine qualities are better evaluated. Plants from seeds created in this way will be all females because there is no chance for female parents to have male chromosomes ( see feminized seeds ) .

Using gibberellic acid on one branch of a female plant affects her to have male flowers. Gibberellic acid is sold in horticulture. Spray the plant every day for ten days with 0.01 percent gibberellic acid. When the male flowers form, pollinate them with your next female you chose. Just pollinate one branch if you don't want a pile of seeds.

When a male flower appears on a branch, cut it and let it roam in the water and put the glass under it to catch the male pollen when it falls. Use rooting solution similar to cloning. Collect pollen with a plastic bag on the branch and shake it. Use a razor blade to collect deciduous pollen and also add it to the bag.

negative ion generator increases growth rate and crop . See ionizer in growshop. However, there is no real evidence to support this. However, it makes sense, since negative ions in the air seem to have a good effect on humans and animals. Also plants can "feel" better. Try to put one in the room where you grow. You may notice that the buds do not have as strong a flavor as when you chose them, but this may be desirable in some cases.

You can purchase a negative ion generator at different price ranges, depending on the type and performance required. Some have an inverted cycle that collects dust into a charged plate. It is also possible to apply a grounded aluminum foil to the wall and cabinets where the ionizer is seated to collect these particles. Simply clean the foil once a month by wiping it. It should be grounded for electrical conductors. If you do not cover the wall and cabinet with paper or foil, the wall will darken with air dust and you will then have to repaint it. - we recommend antidetection film.

It's a big problem to get oxygen to the roots because the plant requires nutrients to be available to get rid of toxins and so on. One of the easiest things to do we can do is put food hydrogen peroxide in water to increase the availability of oxygen in the water. H 2 0 2 has an extra oxygen atom that easily breaks off and can be used by the plant. We recommend adding Agroperlit to the substrate to aerate the substrate. Also suitable is Atami bio-Growmix or Light Mix. You can also use plant nutrition that 25% hydrogen peroxide is ideal for this use.

frequent loosening to grow. Get a good drainage in the blend at the bottom of the pot with perlite, sand or gravel. Do not use soil that has too much water or you will need to significantly reduce the oxygen available to the plant! Learn more about this in the hydroponics section.

Aerating water before watering is also a good idea. For potted clay, use an inflator or pump to aerate the water overnight before pouring the plants.

Good advice on gold : Pour the water into the lid and shake it well before giving it to the plants. </ span >

faster growth of their plants. Maybe because of sodium and heavy metals in hard water . They are not present in purified water. Hard water tends to build alkaline deposits of salts in the soil that close minerals and cause iron, copper, and zinc deficiency. There are several types of purified water, but many are not mineral-free, which can cause salt to accumulate over a longer period.

calcium and sodium and should contain less deposits. Hot water will again have rust, deposits and so much sodium and calcium that we can see it easily. Use only the amount of hot water you need to keep the water at the right temperature ( 21-27 ° C ). Tap water filtered through carbon (charcoal) will be free of chlorine and most large particles but will still contain dissolved solids such as sodium and heavy metals (lead, arsenic, nickel, etc.). / span>

Purified bottled water is either reverse osmosis or some form of carbon / filtered water deposit. Choose when buying water at the store. If it's not reverse osmosis or distilled water, don't even think of buying it. It could still have the same dissolved solids and heavy metals like the tap water. Large and small reverse osmotic unit in the growshop.

It has been reported that a solution of one pill per 4l of water causes growth in tomato . It may also help other plants . One treatment dosed before flowering and one dosed a few weeks before harvest could help the plant mature faster.

One grower told a story about two plants of the same type. One that was given estrogen grew to a height of 6m while the other had 2m. It's probably nothing unsupported, but maybe it works. If you try and let me know how you ended up, we'll be happy :)

Use a vacuum bag, vacuum food storage container to seal the bag without air inside. Put in the fridge or freezer and the seeds and herbs can be stored for several years.

Tap the seeds with a paper towel to absorb moisture. Leave them in the freezer and always pull as many seeds as you need, then quickly slide them back into the freezer. If the seeds do not contain too much water, they can be stored in extreme cold, do not crack and can withstand the maximum germination time.

You can achieve good results even in cases that seem to be a marginal situation. Maybe a 10cm tall flowerpot in a room with a skylight :)

With minimal : well-drained soil, good world with ventilation, regular fertilizer delivery guaranteed.
