Indica cannabis plants are compact with thick buds rich in resin. Indica strains produce flowers richer in sedative terpenes such as myrcene. These varieties had to finish flowering before the fast-approaching fall, so they ripen earlier. Indica is specific for its low height, broad leaves and dense flowers. Nowadays it is almost impossible to find a pure indica or sativa, most of the current varieties are hybrids of these species.
