Sativa cannabis seeds produce plants that are often characterized by a longer flowering period. Sativa is a specific strain of cannabis native to Africa and the tropical regions of the equator. Sativa strains (and some hybrid strains) often contain higher amounts of the terpenes limonene and terpinolene. Cannabis sativa plants produce characteristic thin blade-like leaves. Among the classic sativa varieties we can include, for example, Durban Poison, Haze or the South American pure sativa Desfrán.
