Cancer

Tumor proliferation can be completely harmless, but it can also kill the victim in a relatively short time. It is usually seen as a sign of malignancy that the tumor grows into the environment and is able to spread across the body and establish distant deposits, called metastases. A tumor is a set of cells growing alone without controlling the body. It is most often produced in tissues where cells are the most proliferating, such as the respiratory system or the digestive system. Diagnosis of cancer is difficult. The patient usually presents with non-specific problems and it is not uncommon that the first manifestation of the tumor may be complications caused by the growth of metastases.
The tumor may present with complications at its site of growth, such as oppression, pain, bleeding, or impaired organ function. There are also uncharacteristic symptoms such as severe night sweats, anorexia or weight loss. Surgical treatment, chemotherapy and radiotherapy are most often used.
