The cannabinoid HHC has become one of the most discussed cannabinoid substances in Europe, mainly due to its similarities to THC. The first discovery of HHC was attributed to chemist Adam Rodgers in 1944, and since then the substance has undergone an interesting evolution.

Although HHC occurs naturally in cannabis, the amount of the substance is so small that its extraction is economically challenging. Hemp farms therefore prefer to extract HHC from CBD by means of a chemical reaction called hydrogenation (a common process used, for example, in the production of margarine).

When selling HHC, you inevitably ask whether this hemp product is legal. The short answer is: yes. The legal sale of HHC is conditional on the extraction of HHC from the cannabinoid CBD, and THC does not exceed the 1% threshold.
