Amuric Vine - Vitis amurensis

The Amuric vine is a softwood tree 6 -8m high, frost-resistant. The leaves are dark green, cordate with three to five lobes, up to 30cm long, which in the autumn turn red to purple. Young flowers have no ornamental significance on the plant, the fruits are tiny black berries, edible. The wood is not hard on the soil, but it prefers stony or gravel, it fits into the sunny position and the half-shade.
