Citrus Gelato – hybrid genetics with a strong aromatic profile

Citrus Gelato is a balanced indica-dominant hybrid (60% indica / 40% sativa), created by combining the well-known genetics of Sunset Sherbet and Girl Scout Cookies .

Genetic origin and characteristics of Citrus Gelato

This genetic is popular with beginners and experienced collectors due to its unpretentiousness and potentially high resin production. According to the manufacturer, the content of some active ingredients (e.g. cannabinoids) reaches up to 20-33%. The CBD content is low, usually below 1%. Indoors, it reaches a height of around 90 to 110 cm, with a maturation time of around 60 to 65 days. Under optimal conditions, yields of up to 600 g/m² can be achieved. When grown outdoors, the plant reaches a height of around 140 cm, and the harvest can occur during October with yields exceeding 1000 g per plant.

Citrus Gelato produces compact, resin-rich plant parts that are used for example in the production of aromatic extracts. The genetics are relatively resistant to fungi and pests, which helps in successful cultivation.

It is visually striking in appearance - in colder conditions, a purple or pink color may appear, which, combined with the glittering surface, looks very attractive.
