CBG Origin
The CBG Origin variety, as the name suggests, has an unusually high amount of the active cannabinoid CBG, namely 12.7%. CBG Origin promotes relaxation and calming, without adverse psychoactive effects. Cannabinoid CBG does not cause intoxication.
Basically, the CBG Origin variety consists of hemp from the genus Indica, which is further crossed with selected and the highest quality hemp strains originating from Switzerland. CBG origin seeds are feminized and auto-flowering, which eliminates much of the worries during the cultivation process.
This model also excels in a very captivating terpene profile with a full woody aroma. The strongest terpenes are pinene, caryophyllene, humulene, which can support the potential therapeutic effects of this cannabis model.
Properties and potential of terpenes contained
Pinene
A characteristic feature is a very fresh, distinctive but unobtrusive scent of herbs and other grasses. Its aroma and taste combine tones of rosemary, basil, and forest aromas. This terpene is completely characteristic of conifers.
Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it is used in aromatherapy and inhalation in the treatment of asthmatic diseases and respiratory tract infections.
Caryophyllene
This terpene excels in a distinctly spicy pepper aroma with woody tones, which is a combination that looks very fresh.
Caryophyllene has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, which can potentially help relieve pain. It is also used as an essence in inhalation mixtures, as the anti-inflammatory effect can favorably affect the upper respiratory tract.
Interestingly, caryophyllene can directly affect the endocannabinoid system and interact with its receptors, specifically CB2 receptors. This ability has not yet been demonstrated with any other terpene.
Humulene
Humulene is a typical representative of spicy and at the same time earthy fragrant essential oils with slightly pungent undertones. In nature, it is most abundant in hops.
It is especially appreciated for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. Therefore, it is often used when inhaling medical vapors to relax the airways. This terpene could be appreciated especially by people with various allergies, asthma, or other respiratory infections.
