Rose(Rosa damascena)

Bulgarian Rose is extracted from the delicate petals of freshly picked Rosa damascena flowers grown and harvested exclusively in the Rose Valley in the Bulgarian countryside. Damascena Rose has a sweet, deep, highly floral, antique rose aroma with a faint indolic, warm, honeyed undertone and a great fresh green, lemon-citrus note that emerges in the dry.

Arctander, in his book Perfume and Flavour Materials of Natural Origin, notes that Bulgarian Rose Absolute is so widely used in high-end perfumes that it is hardly possible to define its area of use.

Uses of rose oil

Rose oil is one of the most important and widely used oils in perfume production. The aroma is often used as the main theme of a perfume, but it is also prized for its ability, especially in extremely diluted form, to blend well with almost all other fragrances and to enhance and complete many perfume compositions.

Rosa damascena is traditionally calming and uplifting. It is used for its soothing, rejuvenating and toning properties on the skin.
