Terpenes - purpose of use - Flu and colds

Terpenes are organic fragrance oils, sometimes also called essential fragrance oils. They are a natural part of all flowers, herbs, spices, fruits or vegetables, and in essence some of the terpenes can be found in every plant. These essential oils are behind the specific aroma of plants and crops, including the characteristic aroma of different varieties of medical cannabis.

These scented oils are widely used in aromatherapy and massage therapy. Terpenes promote relaxation of mind and body. They can help relax the muscles, relieve headaches (or migraines), relieve stress. Some of the essential oils even have very strong anti-inflammatory effects.
