7 Tips for a Rich Yield
How to increase plant yield? Possibly the most common question among growers.
We have 7 tips that you definitely shouldn't miss. If your dream is a yield so big you'll have to give it away. There are several proven methods that will help you get the most out of your plant. But it won't work without quality genetics.
If we want to grow for maximum results, there are proven commercial models like Big Bud XXL or Widow.
1. Most Losses Occur During Flowering
During the plant's life cycle, several problems can arise. However, growers themselves cause most errors: nutrient burn, nutrient deficiency, light stress. (more in the article here). Every mistake limits plant health and destroys potential yields. Most problems can be expected during flowering. At the end, the plant is most vulnerable according to experience. Be especially careful during the flowering phase.
2. Quality Genetics = Success Prerequisite

It's clear that quality genetics from a good seed bank are important for growers. If you're serious about growing and expect decent results, don't settle for the cheapest and low-quality models for recreational growers. Price certainly plays a role. However, we can't always say that price equals quality. A good indicator of model quality is the seed bank's reputation. A good seed bank continuously improves its models, breeds them, making them more resistant and offering higher yields. But it's not a guarantee of a big harvest. By buying good genetics, you're buying the potential for a good result. Plan ahead and instead of 5 average seeds, take 3 higher-quality ones.
3. Humidity Suits Plants
Humidity can be artificially maintained within any norms. It's true that plants can be grown at different humidity levels without significant yield loss. However, higher humidity suits plants. Invest time in adjusting air humidity. When humidity drops below 40%, plants become more susceptible to burning, stress, and grow slower.
You can do wonders with humidity. It's suitable to maintain humidity between 50-60% throughout the growth. However, temporarily reducing humidity to around 30% can help plants achieve higher yields. We warn that this must be only short-term! This reduction must not last more than 2 weeks.
4. Miracles with CO2
It's probably well-known that plants need this gas more than we do. By increasing CO2, you can significantly boost overall yield. You can't influence result quality with carbon dioxide, but your yield will increase.
Carbon dioxide is much more useful for plants with strong light. If you have lighting over 500 Watts, consider artificially adding CO2. This gas is extremely important for plants receiving lots of light. You can shine light 24 hours a day, but if there's nothing to "breathe", all lights are the same. Light and carbon dioxide condition each other. If you decide to artificially add some, also think about light!
5. Pleasant Room Temperature
Take care of your plant. If it feels comfortable, it'll offer its maximum. Ensure a stable temperature around 24°C. (If increasing CO2, you can ensure temperature around 28°C). During the night's rest, the plant should cool down, we recommend slightly under 20°C (around 16°C).
6. Air Ventilation
Constantly fresh air is good for the plant, ensuring good vitality and limiting diseases, especially mold. If you want to save money and plan to have only one or 2 plants, an ordinary fan or small hairdryer will suffice.
If you need to "ventilate" three or more plants, we recommend better equipment. Plants should have constant air supply, leaves can slightly wave but shouldn't bend too much. Also be careful that using a fan will reduce air humidity.
7. Keep Learning
Never accept that you know everything about growing. Be open to new techniques and most importantly, do everything with your plants with love. And remember, at Semena-marihuany.cz we'll continue bringing you regular advice, instructions, and news..
That's all about herb yield. Remember that growing cannabis for drug production is illegal!
Cannabis / marijuana seeds are exclusively for collector purposes! Growing plants with higher THC content is a misdemeanor or criminal offense! More here
