Jack Herer, History and Famous Ancestors
The famous Jack Herer strain, named after the equally renowned cannabis activist Jack Herer and author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes, should not be missing from any cannabis enthusiast's collection, nor from the medicine cabinet of a patient using cannabis as medicine.
Shortly after its creation during the mid-nineties in the Netherlands, the Jack Herer strain rose to the level of celebrity strains and began to receive stellar ratings in all major competitions. However, the cannabis cup trophies were not everything this strain accomplished – it was subsequently recognized by Dutch pharmacies as an official medical strain that patients should use for treatment.
The Jack Herer strain became famous mainly due to its excellent combination of Sativa's energetic effects and dense production of huge resin crystals, which it inherited primarily from its Indian Northern Lights ancestors.

They improved Jack Herer through backcrossing and then selected the mother. They further enhanced it with Super Skunk and Haze flavor. Jack Flash is the triumphant result of this breeding.
5. Black Jack
What is created by crossing Black Domina with the extraordinary Jack Herer plant? Black Jack! Black Jack has a pleasant and intense aroma reminiscent of cathedral incense and modern Haze. The result of the crossing is one of the strongest and most productive hybrids.
6. Jack 47
Super-hybrid obtained by crossing two of the strongest strains of all time, Jack Herer x AK-47. AK-47 was selected primarily for its high yield and strong effect, while Jack Herer, which participates in the crossing, is the same elite clone used in the Black Jack plant that some of you have probably already encountered.
7. Critical Jack
Balanced sativa/indica type. Suitable for indoor, greenhouses, and outdoor.
The plant looks more like Sativa and produces a large amount of resin. Balanced mental and physical effects.
