The breeding team at Seedstockers worked through lockdowns and border closures, utilizing the period from 2017 to 2021 to produce an entirely new genetic series, with all seeds available in Regular (non-feminized) Photoperiod, Feminized Photoperiod, and Autoflowering Feminized.
What to Know About the Humboldt x Seedstockers Project?
California's Humboldt county is known as the home of many well-functioning strains, especially regarding aroma, appearance, and cannabinoids. However, most strains in Humboldt County are only available as cloned varieties, making them difficult to find as stabilized seed strains. Seedstockers breeders began by creating S1 crossings of many different strains gifted to them in California, discovering that most of these genetics were not suitable for direct seed reproduction. Taste, aroma, and cannabinoids remained high quality, but vitality, stability, and yield needed significant improvement.
The team worked on testing many hybrids and, through trial and error, selected 5 hybrids as absolute winners of this gene pool.
These 5 strains represent what can be expected from a collaboration between people holding the best possible genetics and those among the world's best seed producers. Great taste, great yield, and friendly price. All this with surprising terpene and cannabinoid profiles that bring something truly new to the cannabis community.
