Arm yourself with knowledge of these 6 simple things that will help you solve the vast majority of problems. With minimal effort and this information, success is guaranteed.
1) Heat Kills
The place where plants are located should have a pleasant climate for you as well.
Warm watering strengthens your plants and forces them to drink more water than usual, which can have unexpectedly counterproductive consequences. Often, especially when growing hydroponically, high temperatures can cause nutrient burn because the plant absorbs more nutrients than usual. When growing all herbs, therefore, be careful about the temperature of both the environment and the watering!
Lighting too close to plants can cause excessive heat. In such a case, leaves and stems will start to wilt (as if lacking water), and they may also have brown leaf tips as a result of light stress.
Plants suffering from extreme heat stress will not recover quickly and will not be able to straighten their plant posture and continue growing.
What to do? Reduce heat by any means necessary and ensure the growing area has good air ventilation.
Indoors, ventilate hot air using a fan or exhaust system. Make sure all heated air is vented outside of the grow area and the room. This will also filter and remove excessive odor.
If you prefer outdoor growing, it is necessary to shade plants during heat waves and during hot noon hours with shade cloths or foils
